| It was an alright episode I guess. I feel like the anime has been lacking despite the strong early episodes. They're doing a decent job at adapting the source but something just feels lacking to me. |

| This was a really good episode. Soundtrack was good, Naofumi kicking Motoyasu's dumbass awesome, list goes on and on. Hope they keep up the pace next episode, and I'm curious to find out if Itsuki and Ren are truly dead. |

| REALLY liked this episode. Like a lot of people, I agree the past couple of episodes have been slow but I can feel the roller coaster going back up again. It seems this show is causing a lot of people to go one way or another with whether they like it but that's fine. Everyone has their likes and dislikes with what they are watching. |
| The fight between Motoyasu's squad against Naufumi'squad was, in my opinion, well animated, i liked that a lot, Motoyasu thought that Naofumi killed other two heroes, without real proofs, what a clown he is! Didn't expect a new antagonist, thanks to Filo, Naofumi could protect everyone from that strong spell, sadly, Myne was saved too! It finished with a Clifhanger, curious to see next episode, to see how they will handle that, and i wonder if Bow and Sword heroes are really dead! |

| Damn. Kefka dropped his Light of Judgment right on top of them... Wait...That magic was actually called Judgment?! Haha! Hard Reads! So after all the crap that Myne and Motoyasu put Captain Japan and his party through, we get an even bigger asshole in the name of the Pope. Well everything has gone to hell now. So how will our heroes get out of this one? And will Motoyasu decide to side with Captain Japan this time? As for Myne? Eh...killing her would be too easy. Let's see if her deceptions can get her out of this predicament that she ultimately caused. |

| Great episode. The pope appears all smug we are told by the title of the next ep the other two heroes will enter tge fray the. The only problem is how the soul eater shield works. From my understanding it takes SP from the enemy on contact and as a side effect it gives like 1% of it to Naofumi but in this ep it seemed to empty Naofumi's SP too. Is this a bad translation or am I missing something? @FMmatron can you have redemption before punisment?! Also to all complaining Spear Moron and Bitch where saved too Naofumi still needs Spear Moron to fight back the waves and killing Bitch this way will make it harder to clear his name. |

| Ayt while I hated what they did with the fat overlord incident, I gotta say this ep was fcking hype, and its about damn time it made me feel this way, finally an episode I can rewatch over and over! Loved how they handled the fight and team plays here, along with the dialogues and direction, now if only they can continue with this kind of directing and pace this can end on a good note. 4/5! I'm one of the people that has a roller coaster vibe with this show, I was fcking pissed with some of their decision, and honestly still am, but they do have their moments sometimes. Anyways what I'm getting at is, if people are shitting on the show just for the sake of it, then don't be surprised when the opposite side does the same. |

| I think the Pope purposely brought the whole squad to chant the Judgement spell on Naofumi due to him being the shield hero. It wouldn't be needed on the other 2, that's just my guess! This show is really good, the action is pretty weak in all honesty but i've come to the realization that this show is focused on dialogue and story not the action scenes.ο»Ώ |

| So awkwardly funny that Motoyasu is STILL being brainwashed, and finally taking 3/4 way part to FINALLY understand what Itsuki and (initially) Ren have been staking after Naofumi shows them the REAL truth. The part where Myne was backstabbed was easily the best part of the episode. Seems that she also didn't know that the Three Heroes church has been taking this on their side for the longest time. The Pope is here to do the biggest eradication, and...I'm not very surprised now. Will the final 7 episodes see the fight take to another level? But seriously, after all this while, it's back to SQUARE ONE once again, for the 4 heroes to come together to defeat the church. Quality is getting worse...not to the point of watchability, but investment. ONE LARGE SHRIEK IS ON ITS WAY...how will they combat the poor story writing now? |

He fixed all of their problems!β Pope: βWell heβs the Devil of the Shield... and you know Shield= badβ The sheer ignorance and lack of brain cells with Spear Hero is infuriating to watch. This show thrives on forced melodrama and bad plot devices like the brainwashing shield when thereβs zero evidence to suggest it exists. Motoyasu is so stupid that despite the Pope telling him that Shield Hero didnβt kill Ren and Itsuki, the manipulative bitch Myne could say he did and Motoyasu would accept it screaming βNaofumi, how could you brainwash the Pope!β Those two are a zero dimensional, poorly written, discount version of Team Rocket. The Pope couldnβt come up with any arguments against the Cursed Devil of the Shield. Heβs just another βall in the name of goodβ cartoon evil villain. Overall, this show is so poorly written that Iβm only watching for the sake of it now. |

| Oh dear. Here comes Motoyasu, Myne and their two lackys again! No surprise that they wanted to fight poor Naofumi again, who must be fed up with their constant bullshit reasons as usual. The 4 Vs 4 fight was satisfying, with the animation being good enough and the music was great. Despite Naofumi's team winning the battle, Motoyasu and Myne's stupid accusations of him being the ones who've "killed" Rin and Itsuki wouldn't stop. However, Filo sensed something wrong and kicked Motoyasu's group towards Naofumi, who Filo ordered to put up as much shields for both groups as much as he could. Good thing he did it in time, as the same judgement beam from the previous episode hits the whole group. Naofumi succeeds in saving everyone, but only just. I know people are pissed that Myne was saved and all, but it's obvious that Naofumi and his group won't go as far as slaying other people unless there's a VERY good reason to, otherwise it would be a bit out of character. We saw that with Raphtalia and Idol not too long ago, so people shouldn't be surprised at this point. Anyway, the person behind the judgement beam was none other than the Pope, who happens to be a more corrupt bastard than Myne, which is one hell of an achievement, I must say. XD Either way, his reasoning for killing the devil of the shield and those around him sounds stupid, but his arsenal of power is no joke. He wants to get rid the royal family and have his church replace them, which will simply give the waves of catastrophe a huge boost. I hope he's stopped soon, going by the way he's holding the sword that's making Melty panic, the consequences if the Pope isn't stopped in time might be fatal... |

| Man what a cliffhanger! Geez. Looks like Naofumi and co arrive at the wall... Ofcourse it was the spear hero nearby.. a 1 in 3 chance I guess. It was quite a nice fight. That power strike from above was quite random though. But looks like the pope is trying to exterminate all heroes and take over the crown? I do want Motoyasu eventually realizing the truth and join forces with Naofumi but Myne cannot walk by their side ever no matter what. She either should be let go to be on her own or be killed for what she has done and what she is. Woo the shield hero is strong af bruh  a nice wall  |

| @FMmatron There is an abysmal difference between Meruem and the imbecile of the spear, since the ant king Chimera was created with the intention of humanizing, the story gives focus to all its development takes a lot of time on screen, while Motoyasu only exists for that Nao looks better in comparison, does not have any kind of development and the story itself treats it as a living joke. |

| the pope pretty much affirms that the antagonists of this show are autistic imbeciles and should be wiped off the face of the earth kinda stupid how he appears out of no where though we kinda knew the church had power, but the pope was just a borderline asspull introduction what a wasted episode of spear hero chimping it out this show would be less infuriating if this show was a hentai, and Malty was actually giving Motoyashu the pussy thus the utter pepega stupidity would be a bit more bearable, bc he was actually pussy whipped there i wrote a more believable storyline in 1 min time |

| I swear I saw my brain tsk each time my eyes rolled to the back of my head whenever Spear Hero opened his stupid fucking mouth. I am just tired of it. He's a fucking pedo and a fucking imbecile. I think almost every single person in this series is just fucking stupid to a certain extent. Yes, even Naofumi and Raphthalia even though I love these two. Melty makes me gag. My favorite is Filo-chan in her fat ass chicken form but she was an idiot ever since she was an egg. Poor thing never developed a proper brain. Honestly,I'm rooting for the priest. Kill everyone now. Save them from their stupidity and let's hope they're reborn with common sense. Naofumi needs to get out of that world now, he was the smartest but now he's being infected with their stupidity too. He'd be better off killing himself than torturing himself longer in their presence. |
