It's been awhile since seeing an image of the piano in the forest but that image will forever remain iconic in this series.
It's Kei's performance this episode and he plays a slow paced music but still a very special one.
This is why I am still watching Piano no Mori. This episode was marvelous. After Wei Pang's emotional backstory I was yearning for more. Lech's story and performance were beautiful. I loved that he dedicated his piece to his sister. And Kai... Wow. His performance was amazing. It was great to see how his own performance brought him back to his youth and the iconic piano in the forest. Shuuhei is a wonderful opponent by the way. They both did an excellent job in this competition. The audience was moved and it was really great to see. Hopefully, the next episode will be just as good.
Nasza Polska!
Kai really did a great job. Love the performances and various interpretations of Chopin's music. Especially for me as a Polish citizen. I really like the magical way in which my country is portrayed.
Hyped for more.
I'm from Poland and watching this episode was just so weird to me, especially when the audience was screaming "Nasza Polska" at the end. A little cringy from my perspective. Their accent was pretty good though. No but like, hearing and seeing things about my country in anime feels so strange but I like it.
The episode was really good. Kai's and Lech's performances gave me goosebunps and even though I know almost nothing about pianos and classical music, I know they were top class!
I loved all the performance, quite mesmerizing. The visuals may not be the greatest but the music is simply amazing. I don't know much about music but I know that it moved me.
I loved the audience reacting to Kai's performance as well.
Can't wait for more. xD
This is the last ep I'll watch from this anime, if you can call it an anime, is more like a PowerPoint presentation. The music is indeed amazing but the story is pretty average and the "animation" is bad.
4/10 and drop
Lol, "Naša Polska" had me laughing, it was pretty random, but great at the same time. Even though this 2nd season is directed pretty conservatively and simplistic at times, the characters and the music just bring out a lot of joy. It would be perfect, if they wrote the inner thoughts on screen, instead of the geezers talking all the time and if they put in more of those animated scenes with flower fields and stuff.
wonderful piano this episode. really pleasing to watch
the pols love them some kai. still not sure about this music doctor guy
did that kid's sister injure herself - and end her music career - while attempting to save him from some accident? he feels very guilty about something...
